Sonia’s Edinburgh All-Weather Guide
AKA, my recommendations for Edinburgh depending on your luck with the weather ;)
If you’ve not read my Christmas Guide, then a quick word of explanation: before I branched out and started my own blog and tours, I wrote and guided for many other companies, including the fantastic EDI Tours. I still highly recommend them, especially for their whisky tastings, which are a great indoor activity for those pesky - but all too frequent - rainy days in the capital. On that subject - you’ve probably noticed that predicting the weather in Scotland with certainty would require some magical ability (perhaps that’s why they used to accuse the people who could do it of witchcraft?) - which is why, when visiting, it’s essential to have an arsenal of both indoor- and outdoor activities for your visit to Edinburgh.
